Body Weight Training – How To’s

One of the best things about Body Weight Training is that you can basically do it at any time, in any room, without having to rely on a lot of machinery.  There is no disputing the fact that Body Weight Training is, indeed, the most portable and inexpensive training program out there – and amazingly, it will give you amazing results when done right and done on a regular basis and, as an extra incentive – for those who are looking for a way to get rid of that fat – Body Weight Training is the perfect solution!

However, in order to make sure that you benefit entirely from this training routine, it is important to keep in mind a few “how to’s”:

  • Always consider your current physical fitness. Always start where you are, not where you want to be;
  • It is important to fully understand the “power” behind performing body weight training exercises in the correct way- safety is always your primary concern;
  • Consulting a personal trainer, in order to set up the right workout routine can be your most important step.  Personal trainers can help you gain a better understanding of your body, how it works and, more to the point, how you can benefit the most from Body Weight Training exercises.  Of course, the trainer is also the best person to clearly demonstrate to you, how to perform the exercises safely.
  • Do not be deceived by the apparent ease of performing these exercises.  As anyone who has had to perform 100 sit ups witll tell you – it is way harder than it looks;
  • Enjoy yourself.   Body Weight Training is, in part, about rediscovering how it truly feels to work out your body -minus all the gadgets.  “Feel the burn” and enjoy the experience.
